5 Behaviors of a Cohesive Team Workshop
Dr. Christopher Meade is a 5 Behaviors of a Cohesive Team workshop facilitator trainer. This team-centered learning experience is based on the New York Times best-selling book, The Five Dysfunctions of a Team, by Patrick Lencioni. The program is for both new and intact teams and workgroups. It helps teams understand how they score on the key components of the Five Behaviors model: Trust, Conflict, Commitment, Accountability, and Results.
Positive Approach to Team Building
There are five core dysfunctions that many teams face. This team workshop provides a proven strategy on how to overcome them. The Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team workshop takes a positive approach to team challenges and transform how members of truly cohesive teams behave.
Productive and High-Functioning Teams
- Makes better, faster decisions
- Taps into the skills and opinions of all members
- Avoids wasting time and energy on politics, confusion and destructive conflict
- Avoids wasting time talking about the wrong issues and getting buy-in
- Creates a competitive advantage
- It is more fun to be a part of it!
The Five Team Behaviors of a Cohesive Team Modules
1. TRUST One Another
When team members are genuinely transparent and honest with one another, they can build vulnerability-based trust.
2. Engage in Productive CONFLICT Around Ideas
When there is trust, team members can engage in an unfiltered, constructive debate of ideas and the best solutions come forth.
3. COMMIT to Decisions
When team members can offer opinions and debate ideas, they will be more likely to commit to decisions and action plans. Teams learn how to “disagree, yet still commit” to moving forward.
4. Hold One Another ACCOUNTABLE
When everyone is committed to a clear plan of action, and there is group “buy-in” to the strategic direction and goals, team members will be more willing to hold one another accountable for delivering against those plans.
5. Focus on Achieving Collective RESULTS
The ultimate goal of building greater trust, mastering conflict, gaining commitment, and embracing accountability is one thing: the achievement of collective results.
