DISC In Action Part 2: Advanced Team Communication & Collaboration

DISC Part 2 activates insights to deepen trust, sharpen feedback, and align your team.

Advanced DISC Workplace Part 2

Ideal for teams who have already completed DISC Part 1, this advanced workshop session is designed for teams that have already completed the initial DISC assessment and the introductory DISC workshop. Building on the foundational DISC insights from Workshop 1, DISC Part 2 empowers teams to put their profiles into action—strengthening communication, deepening trust, and boosting collaboration in real time.

Through interactive discussions, practical exercises, and team-based scenarios, participants will deepen their understanding of one another’s communication styles and develop tools for navigating the real challenges of teamwork—like giving feedback, resolving conflict, building trust, and aligning around shared goals.

(If new team members have joined your team since you completed the DISC Part 1 workshop, we can provide individual DISC assessments for new members to ensure everyone is aligned and speaking the same language.)

DISC In Action Part 2: Advanced Workplace Modules

Module 1: Trust by Design
Teams dive into style‑specific trust triggers—identifying what each DISC profile needs to feel reliable, transparent, and safe. Through guided simulations, participants will co‑create “trust rituals” that ensure every style’s promise‑keeping and vulnerability needs are met.

Module 2: Feedback Tailored to Style
Learn to craft and deliver feedback that lands—by matching language, timing, and tone to each DISC preference. In paired exercises, participants will practice style‑aligned “praise + tweak” scripts and receive live coaching on adapting feedback in the moment.

Module 3: Conflict as Creative Tension
Reframe disagreements through a DISC lens: map common flashpoints for each style and apply structured conflict frameworks to turn friction into fuel for innovation. Small teams will design and role‑play a custom “Conflict Playbook” that leverages differences instead of avoiding them.

Module 4: Embedding DISC into Team Rhythms
Translate insights into day‑to‑day habits—designing meeting check‑ins, decision‑making protocols, and onboarding touchpoints that keep DISC top of mind. Each group leaves with a concrete action plan and accountability system to sustain a high‑trust, high‑performance culture.

The ‘glue’ to bring this group together

Ohio-University1 copyThank you for presenting an excellent DISC session to the Ohio University Health Policy Fellowship Class. The Fellows were unanimous in rating you and your session as the highest-rated session of the weekend. They commented on how impressed they were that you were attuned to them to the point that you organized the session based on their interests and goals—the gold standard for an effective educator. We are grateful to have the opportunity to work with someone with your breadth of experience and knowledge—as well as such a great facilitator. Nancy Cooper, Fellowship Coordinator, Ohio University
