StrengthsFinder Team Workshop in San Diego, California:
This interactive StrengthsFinder workshop is an excellent supplemental professional development program for your organization, work-team, staff retreat or corporate team-building event. The StrengthsFinder 2.0 training seminar can be presented in a 2 hour, half-day (3-4 hour) or full-day (7-8 hour) block of time and can be conducted at your organization, a San Diego area hotel, or offsite.
Two StrengthsFinder Workshops:
(1) Engaging Employees & Teams Through Strengths
A half-day (3-4 hour) training experience is offered and geared to help employees discover how they can use and develop their natural strengths and talents to bring out their best contribution to the organization as an individual, a team member, and/or team leader. We focus in on each participant’s Top 5 Signature Strengths as we cover all 34 talents. We also look at how to work more effectively as a team as we profile team strengths within your unique organization. A customized team talent map and supplemental materials are provided.
(2) Developing Strengths-Based Managers & Teams
A full-day (7-8 hour) training experience is offered for managers and supervisors. Your managers will first discover and unlock the potential of their own talents and strengths and then learn how to use their strengths to manage, develop, coach and motivate strengths-based teams. Managers and supervisors learn The 4 Keys of Great Managers and 8 Secrets to Building Strong Teams. This workshop equips supervisors, managers and directors to maximize the potential of each employee under their leadership and supervision in order to deepen employee engagement, increase team productivity and drive business results across their department.

San Diego, California: “America’s Finest City”
Surrounded by beautiful canyons and picturesque mesas, is San Diego, California. San Diego is such a great city, home to more than 1,340,000 residents. The city is extremely diverse. San Diego is one of the top 10 best climates to live in and has beautiful scenery everywhere you look, such as Cowles Mountain, which is in the city limits. Surrounding San Diego are Coronado, Chula Vista, La Mesa and Spring Valley, California.
Similar to other cities in California, some of San Diego’s industry comes from tourism and entertainment, but most industry revenue derives from military and defense, international trade, real estate, shipbuilding and repair, industrial machinery and computers, metal production, toys, and sporting goods.
San Diego is home to the biggest naval fleet in the world and so it would make sense that one of the top employers of the city is the United States Navy. Some of the other larger employers in San Diego are University of California San Diego, Sharp HealthCare, San Diego County, San Diego Unified School District, Qualcomm, City of San Diego, Kaiser Permanente, UC San Diego Health System, and San Diego Gas and Electric.
San Diego has beautiful universities, such as University of San Diego, San Diego State University and Point Loma Nazarene University. Also, SeaWorld is a blast to visit if you have time over the weekend after your conference.
San Diego not only has beautiful beaches and mountains, but it is home to some beautiful convention centers as well. If you need to book a place for a conference in San Diego, try the San Diego Convention Center, Marina Village Conference Center, Ramada San Diego North Hotel and Conference Center, or the San Diego Training and Conference Center.
